Your First Visit

We appreciate your selection of our office to serve your children's dental health needs. Our goal is to provide the very best possible dental care for our patients so that each of them may achieve optimal dental health throughout their lifetime.

Our entire staff operates as a team and we take great pride in each staff member's training and capabilities.

Please review the balance of this page to become more familiar with our procedures. Also, please take a moment to complete our patient forms, before you first visit.

Office Hours

Our regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday thru Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
on Friday.

The office is closed on weekends and major holidays as well as at times when the doctor and staff are attending continuing education programs.

Fees and Payment Policy

In an effort to keep dental costs down while maintaining a high level of professional care, we have established the following payment plans for the use of our patients. Fees may be paid as follows:

1. Prepayment or payment at time of treatment with a discount.
2. Third Party Financing without interest for those who qualify.
3. Use of your VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, or DISCOVER.

Extended payments are available upon special request. Accounts outstanding more than 60 days from treatment date will bear interest at 1 ½% per month or 18% per annum.

Insurance

If you have insurance we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. We ask that you assign your insurance benefit to us. The balance will be arranged for you to pay as listed above.

Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.

Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call in advance so that we may reserve a time for you. The office telephone number is 662-844-3315. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. If possible please give us 24 hours notice. This courtesy on your part makes it possible for us to give your appointment to another patient. We operate a computerized appointment reminder system that will email you and/or call the phone number you give us. You can also leave us a message on this system or with our answering service.

Emergency Care

We reserve a limited amount of time each day so that emergency patients may be scheduled quickly. If you should have a problem requiring emergency treatment, please call us as early in the day as possible.

Should you have an emergency after hours or on weekends, our 24 hour answering service can be reached by calling 888-937-6558.

Recare

We believe in the importance of regular preventive dental care. As a service to our patients, we have adapted a customized recare program suited to each individual's oral hygiene needs.

Smoking

Since exposure to tobacco smoke is detrimental to your health, we ask you to refrain from smoking while in our office.

Sumner and Warriner at Children’s Dental Clinic understand that visiting the dentist can be overwhelming for many of their young patients; and, they strive to provide a great experience for their patients while educating children on the importance of good oral hygiene.
