Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technology advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

At Children's Dental Clinic, we strive to provide you with the highest quality of pediatric dental care available. We work together as an energetic treatment team with many years of experience. We share a common desire to take good care of children, as well as meet their dental needs. Your child is our first concern. We provide care in a child-oriented atmosphere. Primary Focus

At Children's Dental Clinic, our primary focus is to provide comprehensive dentistry to infants, children, adolescents and persons with handicaps. We strive to prevent oral disease through developing positive attitudes and habits. We believe the key to dental success is establishing good oral habits at an early age, with an emphasis on regular preventive dental care. We have adapted a customized recare program suited to each individual's oral hygiene needs.

Dental Assistants

Rhonda

Rhonda has worked in the field of dentistry since 1983 and with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since 1990. Her favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is helping create beautiful smiles, and the best part of her job is meeting new children every day. Her favorite thing about working with Drs. Warriner and Sumner is the four-day workweek, plus, there’s never a dull moment! She is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and has lived in Tupelo since 1990. Her family includes her husband, Cliff and three daughters, Lauren, age 23, Brittany, age 23, and Kaitlyn, age 13. In her spare time, Rhonda can be found reading, spending time with her children, and helping her husband run his business.

Andi

Andi has been with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since 2006. She has been in the field of dentistry since 2004, and her favorite thing about it is the interaction with the children and patient care. She enjoys working with Drs. Warriner and Sumner because they make dentistry fun. She is a native of Baldwyn, Mississippi, and has lived in Saltillo since 2006. Her family includes her husband, Jason, and their children, Mallory, age 12, and Jase, age 6 months. In her spare time, she loves fishing and spending time with her family.

Savannah

Savannah has worked with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since February 2008. She has been working in the dental field since 2007. Her favorite thing about working in the practice of dentistry is helping people have healthy and confident smiles. She appreciates the fun working atmosphere Drs. Warriner and Sumner provide, and her favorite part of her job is the feeling she gets when she is able to help calm children down and show them how fun going to the dentist can be! Savannah is a native of Huntington, West Virginia, and has lived in Wheeler since 1998. Her hobbies include playing the guitar, singing, and writing songs.

Hygienists

Mary

Mary has worked with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since 1983. In addition to the usual hygienist duties, Mary also does community education. Her favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is seeing people improve their oral health by changing their habits. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with children. Mary has lived in Tupelo since 1991. Her family includes her husband, Ronnie, and son, Wesley, age 18. Mary enjoys flower gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Amy

Amy has been in the dental field since 2004 and with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since 2006. Her duties include taking x-rays, administering fluoride, and doing prophys (cleanings). Her favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is that it is very hands-on. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know the kids’ different personalities, and seeing the results of treatment. She is a native of Amory, Mississippi, and has lived in Tupelo since 2006 with her husband, Derek. In her free time, she loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, and relax with a good movie.

Amy

Amy has been in the dental field since 2001 and with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since 2002. Her job involves taking x-rays, administering fluoride, and performing cleanings. Her favorite parts of her job are the four-day workweek, the hands-on work with children, and getting to know children’s different personalities. She has lived in Tremont since 2007 with her husband, Josh, and 3-year-old son, Brodie. Her interests include skiing, wakeboarding, MSU sports, scrapbooking, and playing with Brodie.

Front Office

Suzanne, Front Desk

Suzanne takes care of appointments and checking out patients. She has worked in the field of dentistry and with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since 2001. Her favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is helping children, and she loves the fun working atmosphere Drs. Warriner and Sumner create. Her favorite part of her job is the children, fun co-workers, and a great schedule. She is a native of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and has lived in Tupelo since 1975. Her family includes her husband, Brad, and two daughters, Grace, age 6, and Emma, age 3. Her hobbies include fishing, camping, football, and spending time with her children.

Glenda, Financial Coordinator

Glenda's duties include billing and making financial arrangements. She has worked in dentistry and has been with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since 1998. Her favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is making a difference in a child’s life. She loves working with Drs. Warriner and Sumner because they are fun, caring, family-oriented people who create a team atmosphere. Her favorite part of the job is happy, smiling children and happy moms. She is a native of Myrtle, Mississippi, and has lived in Fulton since 2006. Her family includes husband Chris, daughter Haley, age 11, and son Zach, age 12. When she’s not spending time with her family, Glenda can be found fishing, gardening, hunting, or teaching Sunday school.

Candice, Receptionist

Candice has worked with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since 2005. Her duties include patient check-in and data management. She is a native of Saltillo, where she lives with her husband, Chris. In her spare time, Candice enjoys reading, working out, cleaning, and church activities.

DeeDee, Treatment Coordinator

DeeDee's duties include scheduling treatment and explaining the treatment to patients. She has worked in dentistry and with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since 1991. Her favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is being part of restorative care for young and special people, and her favorite thing about working with Drs. Warriner and Sumner is the fun and rewarding atmosphere. Her favorite part of her job is the children, families, co-workers, and great benefits. She is a native of Tupelo, where she lives with her husband, Dusty, their son, Cade, their daughter, Ellen, and their dog, Bear. Her hobbies include singing in church choir, cooking for friends and family, being outdoors, and spending time on the lake.

Wendy, Insurance Coordinator

Wendy has worked with Drs. Warriner and Sumner since 1991. She is responsible for setting up insurance on accounts, verifying coverage, and corresponding with insurance companies to get claims paid. Her favorite thing about the practice of dentistry is seeing the end results, and her favorite thing about working with Drs. Warriner and Sumner is the enjoyable work environment, as well as their kindness and generosity. Her favorite part of her job is seeing happy children (even just after dental work!) and helping families solve insurance issues. Wendy is a native of Oxford, Mississippi, and has lived in New Albany since 2000. Her family includes her husband, Bob, and their children, Kathryn, age 17, Jake, age 15, Keely, age, 20, and Sarah Vance, age 16. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and following her children’s activities.
