Cleft Lip and Palate

The doctors at Children’s Dental Clinic treat patients with cleft lip and palate. Dr. Warriner is a founding member of the Cleft Palate Team of North Mississippi and has over 30 years experience with cleft lip and palate children. The Team is designed to take advantage of the multi-disciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment planning. The medical, dental, speech, hearing and social work aspects of the Cleft Palate Team allow for less duplication of services and attempts to reduce the amount of manipulation of the child with these severe, multifactor problems. Usually once a year, cleft lip and palate patients are evaluated by the Team and recommendations are made for the child’s best treatment outcomes.
